This is the SparkFun MiP Proto-Back, a small PCB that, with a little modification to the robot platform, can be attached to the MiP Robotic Platform to create custom additions based on your needs. The Proto-Back screws into the MiP’s battery pack and gives the user a large soldering area and a section to solder on a 4-pin Expansion Socket that can, when used in conjunction with an Expansion Cable, be connected to the MiP’s hacking port. This proto board is very similar to the Proto-Pack in name and look so be careful not to be confused! Each Proto-Back offers plenty of space to prototype with .1" spaced through holes. Be sure to take a look at the Hookup Guide in the Documents section below as this board does require some modification to your MiP. With this PCB you should have no trouble designing and creating whatever kind of add-on you would like to be attached to your MiP Robotic Platform.Documents:SchematicEagle FilesHookup GuideGitHub (Design Files)
