Hi everyone
I looked at "FAQ E-Health - Read Before You Post" and found the description "GSR → Electrical conductance (Ohm)"
In my understanding, conductance is reciprocal of resistance.
So, skin conductance is generally shown with the unit "(micro) siemens".
I'm reading skin conductance using "eHealth.getSkinConductance();".
The values returned by this function generally range from 4.0 to 15.0.
#This is acceptable range if the unit is micro siemens.
At the same time, journal papers reporting GSR with Ohm unit report values ranging from 30-80 kilo (!) Ohms.
So if the unit of values returned by e-Health sensor is actually "Ohm" as described in "FAQ E-Health - Read Before You Post", it follows that measurement of GSR by e-Health platform is about 1/1000 of previously reported amplitudes of GSR
Am I totally wrong in my understanding?
Or would anyone explain what's happening?
#Or my skin is hyper-dry?
Best regards
