Post subject: | OpenGarden Node stop sending data |
Hi, I'm running a situation where my Node stop to sending me new data. I'm sure that this is not related to water irrigation because occurred in a middle of the day. I'm sure that this is not RF issue because antennas are very close eachother. I'm sure that this is not related to OpenGarden gateway because the only way I found to recover from this stuck is just a physical reset of the Opengarden Node by pwr switch until next stuck that may recur back in one or two weeks. Do you know how this could happen? |

Hi, Could you please share with us the code that is running? Is the issue since the beginning or started to appear suddenly? Regards. |

Hi, libelium-dev wrote: Could you please share with us the code that is running? on the node I'm running TX sketch, uploaded at beginning of 2017. In the gateway yesterday I've tried to debug by uploading the code: "readNode_Packet_Debug" but Serial say only: "Waiting data from nodes..." In both case (with my code or debug code) to solve this I've to reset the Node. libelium-dev wrote: Is the issue since the beginning or started to appear suddenly? For all 2017 and 2018 and half 2019 everything was off. I can say that for ~45 days (from end of May 2019 till middle of June 2019) I never had this behavior and after occurred two times. What I noted from the value I got from the node just before last stuck (jul 30th at 11.20 AM) was an overvoltage but this is occurring everyday at ~ same time the difference is that this time stop to send upaded values. here mV data https://ibb.co/LpqXfjv here soil data https://ibb.co/8mKRPzk best regards |

Hi, It's a weird issue. How do you power supply the devices? Also please try to upload the code again. Which Arduino IDE are you using? We recommend to use 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 for proper operation. Regards |

Hi libelium-dev, Finally I back to home, follow some update of my story. After new physical reset of my opengarden Node, the node start again to send data to my gateway with the exception new data of my soil moisture sensor. I tried to replace the soil moisture sensor but nothing changed. I'm using Arduino hide 1.0.6, I've tried to upload the code again into the node but nothing changed. So we can be with high rate of possibility now it's HW physical issue. Can you share schematics of opengarden Node to better discover the component I've to replace? thanks in advance. best regards Federico |

We're sorry but the schematics of the board are not public. Regards |

Hi libelium-dev wrote: We're sorry but the schematics of the board are not public. I see, imho as this is easy pcb and not blackbox may you consider to release just the schematic as image format? This request is just to avoid to loose half day to reverse engineering it by myself and easly identify my broken component. Thanks in advance. Federico |

Hi, As an exception, we share with you a schematic of the node board, http://www.libelium.com/forum/libelium_ ... de_sch.pdf Regards |
