Hi,
I am using the 3G/GPRS shield over Arduino and Raspberry Pi and generally the product works well. However, for a couple of locations where I am using the device the phone reception is weak and I am looking to find a way to improve connectivity to the phone network.
I have tried using both the 4G External antenna and 4G-3G-GPRS-GSM External Antenna sold from Cooking Hacks but neither have solved the problem.
I'm wondering whether there are any higher powered antennas that are compatible with the 3G/GPRS shield, or whether an additional cable could be used to extend the antenna to a better position, which may help improve signal? If so, are there any limitations to length of cable?
If anyone has any thoughts on how to go about this I'd be very interested to hear.
Thanks, Matt
