Hello

I have hvac ir shield for rpi
https://www.cooking-hacks.com/hvac-ir-r ... spberry-pi

It’s working great.

Now I want to measure room temperature,
So I have here a DHT11 sensor.
(they say it can be used with raspberrypi GPIO port)

Do I need to set up separate raspberrypi?
Or can I connect DHT11 to above shield?

I’m new to digital signaling thing,
so if it’s possible, exact pin position description would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi,

You can use the digital pin 9 or 8 to connect the sensors to the board. Using the arduPi library you could try to read the sensor. There are Arduino libraries to read that sensor but we haven't developed them for ArduPi so you should develop the libraries or include them like functions in the code. Take a look at the following topic for more information

Thanks, It works.
(I couldn't understand the wire protocol, but I assume, it is not risky not to know that)

Here is my work.
