In the receive sms example, the serial monitor is blasted with "REC UNREAD" AT+CMGL="REC UNREAD" messages. At least a hundred. How do i make that stop? And also how do i make the echo of the AT commands not appear?

Thansk

Please let us know more information about how you're testing the module.

I am trying to capture SMS input, how ever any way i try and capture the info in _4G._Buffer and do an If/then statement nothing is triggered.

For example

Code:
if (_4G._buffer == "810")
{digitalWrite(led,HIGH)}
else
{}

LED never turns on. Do i need to capture it and turn it into a string first? Can you give example?
Thanks

Did you test by printing the content of the buffer?

Hi,

So you want to read the content of new messages and if the sms content "810" do something, doesn't it?

You can try to parse the _buffer variable using strtok() function.

_buffer is an uint8_t [] variable, you can't compare it using an equal. So need to search for the proper functions to manage uint8_t [] variables.

Regards
