Hello,

I recently purchased eHealth sensor shield and a few sensors (body temperature, air flow, accelerometer and blood pressure sensor). I have an Intel Galileo Gen2 and have downloaded eHealth library for Galileo. I started with the latest Arduino IDE 1.6.8., but so far I have been unable to compile any sketch that imports this library. The first compile error was "Wire.h: No such file or directory". I consulted many forums some of which suggested moving the Wire library in the main Arduino library folder, but after that I kept getting avr/io.h not found (called from within twi library). And nothing I did resolved this issue.

In some of your posts I read that you suggested using Arudino IDE 1.0.6., so I downloaded it and installed it after I uninstalled the new version. However, in this IDE there is no option to choose Galileo board.

Could you please help me with this issue as I have no idea how to proceed.

Thank you so much for your time in advance.

Hello sepidi,

Try to INCLUDE the wire library in your example.

Regards.

I did. I am trying to read the data from the blood pressure sensor. I was unable to compile BloodPressureExample which has Wire library included. I only managed to read data from body temperature and air flow sensors so far, but with putting code for that directly into my sketch. Otherwise I still haven't had any luck compiling sketches that include eHealth library. :(

Hello sepidi,

Could you post some hardware connection photos?

Regards.

My hardware connections are as described in the tutorial. The problem I have is that the code will not compile for Galileo. I bought Arduino UNO and tested the blood pressure sensor with it and I was able to get the data without any problems. I will now continue to work with Uno, but I wish I could resolve this problem and use Galileo as well.

Regards.
