Hello, Does any know why are we using this formula? I would like to search why I always get negative values.

Code:
float sensorValue = analogRead(A2);
         float voltage = sensorValue*5.0/1023;

         float conductance = 2*((voltage - 0.5) / 100000);

         // Conductance calculation
         conductance = conductance * 1000000;

I change the code into a new more efficient, but still don´t understand what is behind:
Code:
int conductance = ((((analogRead(A2)+1)*5)-512)*20);

Regards!

Hi alblopgas,

Which code are you using?

Can you show us with photos how do you connect the sensors?

Thanks.

Regards
