Hi there,

I'm trying to read my e-health glucometer PRO from the UART on my raspberry pi 3 pins.

I did manage to get one reading but I don't get anything over the serial connection anymore.

Code:
import serial
import time
import struct

ser = serial.Serial('/dev/ttyS0', 1200)

print "starting"
while True:
        try:
                x = ser.read()
                y = ord(x)
                print y
        except serial.serialutil.SerialException:
                print "SerialException"

Any ideas?

Hello,

I had already switched on the UART but didn't disable the Bluetooth so I was using /dev/ttyS0.

Can I use compile the Cooking Hacks HW SDK using ArduiPi to read the glucometer?

This one: http://www.cooking-hacks.com/media/cook ... V2.0.1.zip

Thanks,
Patrick

Hello patricksamy,

MySignals HW libraries are not prepared to compile in Raspberry, you should use eHealth libraries.
Could you send a photo of your hardware connection please?

Where can I find the eHealth libraries?

I'll send a picture later today.

Thanks,
Patrick
