Hi,

I have just bough the microSD shield:

http://www.cooking-hacks.com/index.php/ ... duino.html

I have downloaded the SD_uFat library and the shield worked properly connected to an Arduino UNO. But if I use an Arduino Mega 2560 instead, the demo project get stuck just after accessing to the SD. I followed the instructions in http://www.cooking-hacks.com/skin/front ... ega_Sd.pdf but it's all the same.

It's there any compatibility issue of microSD shield with Mega 2560? Any idea of what's going on?

Hi fon,

We've been trying it.
Try with the new SD library for Arduino, it's included in Arduino 22 IDE, you can download it here http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software you have several examples in the library.

You have to connect the SS pin of the SD module to pin 53 and use 53 in the SD.begin function => SD.begin(53)

best regards

It worked! Just for the record, the new SD library in the Arduino IDE is much more powerful than SD_uFat.

Thanks a lot
fon
