Hello,is the first time than I use an arduino and attempting to pass the program gives me the following error: "Serial port ,COM1, not found.Did you select the right one from the tools" I'm trying to communicate through a USB printer cable Please , help me |

Hello, Sometimes Windows7 does not work well by defualt with Arduino. To solve that, we just have to download and install the FTDI drivers for our PC, according to our operating system and CPU architechture (32/64 bits): http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm A printer-to-USB cable is not needed. Arduino is programmed with a usual USB-to-USB cable. Cheers |
