My name is Alexander Georgantas and I’m undergraduate student at NTUA (Greece) in department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. As part of my diploma thesis I want to run a system witch control the lighting of a room via the internet. I would like to use arduino for this job. The components that libelium suggested me to use are:
2x arduino zigbee pack
1x arduino ethernet shield
1x relay shield
I must buy anything else for my project (hardware, accessories) ?
Can anyone suggest me books or websites that will help me with my project?

Hello alexgeorg,

The relay shield is a good option for controlling the lights, zigBee and ethernet are good for the data communication.

You can info about arduino and applications here: ... /tutorials
