| Post subject: | Wifi shield for Open Garden or touchscreen? |
Hi I am new to IOT and programming, so please excuse my trivial questions. I would like to see the sensor data from the Open Graden shield, for a hydroponic project. But I only see the option via a wifi shield, it that true, or is it possible to connect a touchscreen. Furthermore, if wifi is the only solution, I am not sure if I can use this wifi board: https://www.cooking-hacks.com/blog/tuto ... g-rn-xvee/ Because the other wifi board mentioned in the tutorial is quite expensive. My last qustion is if I can controll pumps to set the PH/Ec up or down, or level by itself. Kind regards |

Hi, We are sorry but we haven't tried open garden with a touchscreen so we don't know if it will work. The WiFi board that you shared is the same than the showed in the open garden tutorial. https://www.cooking-hacks.com/documenta ... onitoring/ Regards |
