Good morning to all the developers and congratulations for your products.
Sorry but I do not speak English very well ( I’m Italian) , I hope to be able to explain myself.

About two weeks ago I bought N ^ 02 https://www.cooking-hacks.com/lora-radi ... no-868-mhz and N ^ 02 Arduino uno.

I started to do some tests with the sample codes (without other sensors) and everything is ok, it works.
Then i connected some sensors to a project that I'm studying:
Shield SD bus SPI
DS3231 bus I2C
Serial bus bluetooth shield
Shield 4..20 mA SPI bus

I had to go as Arduino Mega 2560 (moved the SDA and SCL wires and this OK, it works) because Arduino Uno has little memory (LoRa instructions take up a lot of memory) ...

However, other sensors on SPI Buses do not work. Which pins does the Multiprotocol Shield 2 use?
Do you have documentation on Multiprotocol Shieeld 2 and on LoRa SX 1272? Pin Out?

Can I use other Shields on the SPI bus or just Multiprotocol Shield 2?

Thank you, have a nice day

Stefano

Hi stevign76

Lora uses SPI pins to work. Maybe that is why when you plug other SPI device it doesn't work correctly.

Good evening. Yes, I understood that.

Another question, why does the library occupy so much memory? On Arduino ONE 56% only with the library.

Thank you, have a nice day

Hi stevign76,

Have you tried the sensors without the multiprotocol shield?
If they doesn't work you have got something wrong, review the wiring diagram and the code used.

The LoRa board has got the same pinout of a XBee and it uses the SPI bus:

LoRa MOSI (11)
LoRa MISO (4)
LoRa SCLK (18)
LoRa SSEL (17)
LoRa 3.3V (1)
LoRa GND (10)
LoRa RESET (3)

About the multiprotocol shield: The sockets in Multiprotocol Radio Shield have the same pinout as an Xbee molule like this and it uses the i2c bus to handle the expansor.

You can use all that you want in the SPI Bus.

It is a very complex library, don't worry, we have bigger libraries of other modules.

Good morning, sorry again if I do not speak English very well ..
Thanks for the information.
I tried only my SD module and it works, if I also put SX1272 instead my module does not communicate anymore. Maybe I have to modify my software by switching off SX1272.
Thanks for the pinout:
LoRa MOSI (11)
LoRa MISO (4)
LoRa SCLK (18)
LoRa SSEL (17)
LoRa 3.3V (1)
LoRa GND (10)
LoRa RESET (3)

The Multiprotocol Shield 2 use other PINs? SDA SCL ( Arduino UNO >> A4 A5 ) .. Others Pins?

The Library will be great because the connection is very stable, it works very well :P .
Maybe I was using Arduino Mega, changing the SDA SCL connection (I've already done some tests and it works), so I have more memory.

Thank you

Best Regards
