The 4G shield for Arduino enables the connectivity to high speed LTE, HSPA+, WCDMA cellular networks in order to make possible the creation of the next level of worldwide interactivity projects inside the new "Internet of Things" era. The module comes with 3 waterproof IP67 SMA pigtails perfect for ourtdoor projects. 4G and GPS antennas included.

The 3G shield for Arduino enables the connectivity to high speed WCDMA cellular networks in order to make possible the creation of the next level of worldwide interactivity projects inside the new "Internet of Things" era.

You can also find our Audio/Video Kit to complete this 3G/GPRS Shield. Antenna is not included.

You will need to update your firmware to play mp3. The update is available here. Uncompress and run it in a PC with Windows (emulated Windows not supported).

- Play compressed audio files

Note: This 3G module does not have a GPS receiver.

Note: Now two models available. SIM5215E for Europe and SIM5215A for US / Canada / Australia. The module SIM5218 is deprecated and has been substituted by the SIM5215. Check the tutorial for a comparative between both modules.

This module includes:

  • 1x 4G Shield (LE910 Chipset)
  • 2x 4G antennas
  • 1x GPS antenna (Excluded on Korean and Australian versions)
  • 3x Waterproof IP67 SMA Pigtail uFL-SMAH

NOTE: The SD, FTP and SSL functions of the library work only with Arduino Mega and Raspberry Pi (not with Arduino Uno). This is due to memory restrictions of Arduino Uno as it counts only with 2KB of RAM.
