GPS Module for Arduino / Raspberry Pi
€42.00GPS Module for Arduino is a small electronic circuit that allows to connect to your Arduino board to get position and altitude, as well as speed, date and time on UTC (Universal Time Coordinated). Internal GPS antenna is not included. It is sold as an optional and it is required to use the module.
The assembled module is Vincotech A1080-B that uses the standard NMEA and SIRF III protocols (www.nmea.org) to transmit the position data via serial port.
GPS module for Arduino is a perfect complement for developing geolocalization applications.
It can be used with many navigation NMEA compatible software
IMPORTANT! Handle with care the internal antenna. It's fragile. To get a correct fixation with the satellites, please cover the module with a plastic box

e-Health Sensor Shield for Arduino and Raspberry Pi [Biometric / Medical Applications]
€75.00The e-Health Sensor Shield allows Arduino and Raspberry Pi users to perform biometric and medical applications where body monitoring is needed by using 9 different sensors. This information can be used to monitor in real time the state of a patient or to get sensitive data in order to be subsequently analysed for medical diagnosis. Biometric information gathered can be wirelessly sent using any of the 6 connectivity options available: Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS, Bluetooth, 802.15.4 and ZigBee depending on the application.
You can find our e-Health Sensor Platform Complete Kit to get a complete First Aid Kit for Makers or get the sensors separately:
- Pulse and oxygen in blood sensor (SPO2)
- Airflow sensor (breathing)
- Body temperature sensor
- Electrocardiogram sensor (ECG)
- Glucometer sensor
- Galvanic skin response sensor (GSR - sweating)
- Blood pressure sensor (sphygmomanometer)
- Patient position sensor (Accelerometer)IMPORTANT: The e-Health Sensor Platform has been designed by Cooking Hacks in order to help researchers, developers and artists to measure biometric sensor data for experimentation, fun and test purposes. However, as the platform does not have medical certifications it can not be used to monitor critical patients who need accurate medical monitoring or those whose conditions must be accurately measured for an ulterior professional diagnosis.

Raspberry Pi to Arduino Shields Connection Bridge
€40.00The idea behind the Raspberry Pi to Arduino shields connection bridge is to allow to use any of the shields, boards and modules designed for Arduino in Raspberry Pi. It includes also the possibility of connecting digital and analog sensors, using the same pinout of Arduino but with the power and capabilities of Raspberry.
In order to make complete the compatibility we have created the arduPi library which allows to use Raspberry with the same code used in Arduino. To do so, we have implemented conversion functions so that you can control in the same way as in Arduino all the I/O interfaces: i2C, SPI, UART, analog, digital, in Raspberry Pi.

GPRS/GSM Quadband Module for Arduino / Raspberry Pi (SIM900)
€63.00GPRS/GSM Quadband Module for Arduino (SIM900) offers GPRS connection to your Arduino board.
It includes the SIM900 communication module from SIMCom. It is necessary an antenna in order to establish a communication.
You can send SMS, make calls or create TCP and UDP sockets in order to send the information to the Internet. HTTP and FTP protocols are also available in order to send the information to the cloud directly from your Arduino.Documentation:

- Schematic
- AT Commands
- SIM900 Module InfoNOTE: The Arduino/Raspberry Pi jumper MUST be in Arduino position. The Raspberry Pi position should be used only if the shield is connected to a Raspberry Pi. A wrong position of this jumper can damage the GPRS shield.
Differences between SIM900 and HiLo Modules
- GPRS_Pro performs the same actions that GPRS module (some functions had been enhanced) and new functions has been added such as multiconnection for TCP/IP and UDP/IP clients, audio control or operator selection.
- Regarding power consumption it has been reduced from 56µA to 30µA in power down mode (GPRS_OFF power mode).
- The SIM900 module improves TCP/IP and UDP/IP connections adding new features such as TCP/IP server and multiconnection mode that allows up to 8 TCP/UDP clients or up to 7 TCP/UDP clients and 1 TCP/IP server. Extra functions such as autosending timer, add IP headers, setting DNS servers,... have been added.
- Also uploading and downloading functions have been upgraded to allow to select the origin and destiny folder into the SD card and FTP server.
- New functions allow to manage speaker level, Calling Line Identification (CLI) , mute, call alert. Also GSM/GPRS operator connection can be managed with functions such as get current operator, set preferred operator list, get cell information.Important! Powering the board. You need an External Power Supply.
If you need information of our old HiLo GPRS Quadband Module, you can check it here. Note than both are using the same breakout board so we have had to modify it to be compatible with the new SIM900 module, adding a diode in the voltage regulator.

Radiation Sensor Board for Arduino
€79.00Detect Alpha, Beta and Gamma radiation integrating any Geiger Tube which works in the range 400V - 1000V and read this levels using Arduino. As well as from the terminal, the radiation levels can be shown using different actuators:
- Piezo: it allows us to hear the typical "chirp" common in the radioactivity counters
- Leds: 3 green and 2 red let easily to show low, medium and high levels
- LCD: it displays the counts per minute (cpm) and the equivalent absorbed energy levels in Servants (µSV/h).
NOTE:
-This version comes without the Geiger tube. A version with a Geiger tube already soldered and "ready to use" is available here:
