Details
SquidBee is an open hardware mote. It takes environmental parameters with its 3 sensors (humidity, temperature and lightness) and sends them wirelessly through the SquidBee network using 802.15.4 protocol. SquidBee allows to build easily a sensor network for monitoring gardens, fields, etc.
It includes the XBee™ 802.15.4 module (Digi) with pigtail connector and 2dbi antenna, giving a communication range of 30m indoors and 100m outdoors.
It's compatible with our new device MeshLium with ZigBee module, to create autonomous sensor networks in wide areas. Information about MeshLium and WSN here
