These are good quality IC test hooks with a male connection wire. Instead of a single hook, these have two hooks that are capable of grabbing very small points (like SOIC IC legs). Comes in a bag of five IC hooks of different colors (black, red, white, blue, and green). We use them with the Bus Pirate logic analyzer harnesses but are very cool on their own.

USB 2.0 type A to micro USB 5-pin. This is a new, smaller connector for USB devices. Micro USB connectors are about half the height of mini USB. This is a SparkFun exclusive! These are 155mm long jumpers terminated as male to female. Use these to jumper from any male or female header on any board. Multiple jumpers can be installed next to one another on a 0.1" header. Comes as 1 package of one hundred jumpers (colors shown).

This is a 12" servo cable. This comes in very handy when your servo is further away from the controller than the wire on the servo allows. Female connector on one end goes to controller and the female connector on the other mates with male pins commonly found on a controller board (such as a UAV controller or the ArduPilot). This cable does not easily connect to servos but connects great with receivers. Wire can also be used as a simple 0.1" jumper cable.

Alligator clips (or Crocodile clips, if you prefer) are likely to be the most useful thing on your workbench besides the workbench itself. Whether you're just trying to make a few quick connections to test your circuit or having trouble making your multimeter leads stay where you need them, these spring-loaded clips are a workshop must-have. Each lead in this pack of tern is 50cm long with a rubber shrouded alligator clip on each end. There are five different colors, you get two each of: red, green, white, black and yellow.

Note: These wires have a weird naming convention. Both ends of this wire have what, in most cases, should be called a female connector; but, for these wires, the presence (or lack thereof) of the plastic shroud is what makes an end female or male. If you're looking to plug one end of these wires into a breadboard, you could stick our breakaway male headers into the un-shrouded end to make it a true male connector.

This is an interface cable for the Bus Pirate, designed to connect to its 2x5 I/O header. The cable's connector is composed of two rows of five 0.1" spaced pins; it's also polarized, as is the mating connector on-board the Bus Pirate, so you can only connect the cable in one direction. The leads of the cable are terminated with female ends to mate with test hooks (coming soon!).

This particular wire glows fluorescent green and is 3m (almost 10 feet) in length, 2.3mm in diameter and is terminated with a JST PH connector. This connector works directly with our two driver boards, the El Escudo and the EL Sequencer. Or, you can wire them directly into the output of an inverter.

This is a simple cable that adapts from a USB port to a 5.5x2.1mm barrel connector, center positive. This cable allows the user to use a USB port on a computer, laptop, or on our cigarette power supply to provide our development boards with 5V.

The USB specification limits current consumption to a max of 500mA from a USB port but this is more than enough to run a simple development board.

This is a simple 8" long 2.5mm audio cable. It is terminated with a 2.5mm audio plug on one side and unterminated with bare wires on the other end. These are to be used with the ModKit shields.

The 2.5mm plug is the same one used by many devices. A lot of older cell phones used this size for the headsets. It is the audio jack size generally used on a lot of portable electronics that didn't use the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, the Rebel line of Canon dSLRs use this jack for shutter control.
